Yoga Path offers classes for the beginner, intermediate, and experienced student. Our teaching staff are dedicated fulltime professional Yoga teachers who guide with encouragement, motivation and support to help students discover their own yoga path and realise their true potential.

Beginners - Foundation Iyengar Yoga Classes

For enrolled students participating in the Beginner Iyengar Yoga Foundation Course. These classes are open to casual attendance as well. Learn more about the Beginner Iyengar Yoga Foundation Course here.

General Iyengar Yoga Classes

Guided by our highly experienced teachers, this innovative class is open to all levels of Iyengar Yoga experience. Casual attendance very welcome. 

Intro Level 1 Iyengar Yoga

Step up Beginner's Iyengar Yoga and prepare for Level 1 classes with this bridging course. Firmly establish Iyengar Yoga fundamentals and move forward in your practice with confidence. Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.

Level 1 Iyengar Yoga

Step up from Intro Level 1 classes, learn more about the integration of breath awareness in Iyengar Yoga, explore yoga poses in greater depth and a slightly more challenging level, including introduction to inversions (handstand, forearm balance, headstand and shoulderstand). All classes at Yoga Path work on a progressional basis meaning consistent attendance is rewarded by the progressional development of your yoga practice. Casual attendance also welcome.

Level 2 Iyengar Yoga

A class for students with looking to explore the self-awareness and challenge yoga offers in greater detail.  These classes can include inversions (headstand, forearm balance, shoulderstand and handstands) Are you ready? Come along and give it go, you might surprise yourself. Regular practice in Level 1 Iyengar Yoga is a prerequisite.

Remember:

  • Doors open 15 minutes before each class; classes start punctually
  • Keep your teacher informed of any changes to your health
  • Better to forego main meals 2 hours before class
  • Yoga Path is fully equipped, no need to byo mat unless you prefer to use your own
  • Please BYO props to class during the Coronavirus Health Crisis
  • Please bring a clean towel, water bottle if you need one, but leave your mobile phone at home or on silent and minimize the wearing of jewellery or wrist watch
  • Yoga Path is dedicated to teaching Hatha Yoga the Iyengar way. We do not present mixed styles of yoga, nor are we a gym or pilates centre
  • Yoga Path usually has a modified timetable on Public Holidays - be sure to check the Home Page for updates before coming to class on Public Holidays
